There aren't many places in this world I love more than the great city of Chicago, so when I had the opportunity to head into the Windy City to catch up with a few old friends, I didn't hesitate to pack my bags.
Besides, seeing the cover of one of my favorite albums in person is always worth the trip:

Spending four hours in the car allowed me to listen to a whole bunch of songs that were stockpiled in my iPod, including few of my favorite driving tunes:
Iggy Pop, "Lust for Life" from Lust for Life
Hurricane Bells, "This Year" from Tonight is the Ghost
Yeah Yeah Yeahs, "Cheated Hearts" from Show Your Bones
The Tallest Man on Earth, "Honey Won't You Let Me In" from Shallow Grave
Spoon, "The Underdog" from Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga
David Bowie, "Young Americans" from Young Americans
