Canada. I love it. I love it so much I moved there. I'm sort of half Canadian anyway. However after I moved there, I realized living there was a lot different than visiting. The tough streets of Toronto were too rough for me, so I moved back to Detroit! Hah! Considering most of my friends in Canada are musicians or the girlfriend/wife of a musician, I hear a lot about new bands before they become popular and have had the chance to see a few of them rise from opening gigs in the middle of nowhere to headlining large venues. This week, I salute Canada! P.S. Love in October, aren't from Canada, but I met them in Canada, they've recorded at Chemical Sound in Toronto, and they fit right in with this list. So deal with it Canada and your CanCon rules.
